Our Curriculum
Our curriculum has its foundation on the Early Years Foundation Stage.
At Bunnies Pre-School, through a play-based approach, we aim to provide a wide range of real-life experiences that would accompany the child for a lifetime.
We cover a wide range of topics each term based around seasons, festivals and events around the world and in the community. We promote an active and healthy lifestyle, looking after our planet, topics around carefully chosen books to develop life-long love of reading.

At the request of the parents, special attention is given to Polish customs, songs and stories.

Children partake in individual activities: board games, table activities: mark- making, puzzles, etc.

Day Begins
Our day begins with daily tooth brushing followed by welcome time and a sound of the week. Children then begin their free play time – a variety of activities are set up and planned around the EYFS seven areas of learning. Children can move around the room and choose their activities independently, based on their own interests.

Tidy-up time. All children are encouraged to sort out and help to put toys back into their place.

Everyone washes their hands as it is snack time! Children are provided with a tasty, healthy snack. They have the opportunity to choose and eat from selection of fruits, vegetables and crackers, and drink water or milk.

Children partake in prayer in the church or independent looking at books of children’s choice.

Outdoor play and learning involving water and sand play, mud kitchen, ball games, riding on tricycles and scooters, climbing, etc.
